The room was spacious and comfortable, with ample pillows, though they were rather flat. Temperature control was lacking; the air was hot and dusty, and maintenance took over an hour to respond. Breakfast options were limited and poorly managed, with complaints from staff about supplies. Wi-Fi was mostly unusable, forcing me to tether to my phone. Valet parking was frustrating, leading to a long wait before missing part of an event. The overall cleanliness was notable, but service inconsistencies detracted from the experience.

Magnificent and brilliant location in a downtown area, short walk to downtown New Orleans, French Quarter, and the cruise port. The rooms on electronics. Assorted breakfast to start the day with waffles and eggs sausage waffles, for example.

The hotel room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, which was a definite plus. there were some issues that affected my overall experience. One of the highlights was the flat-screen TV in the room, which was great for relaxing in the evenings. The room service was prompt and efficient when we needed extra towels and toiletries. I also appreciated having an ironing facility available, as it came in handy for keeping my clothes neat during my stay. On the downside, the air conditioning in the room struggled to cool properly, especially during the hot New Orleans nights. The room could have benefitted from better heating as well, as it felt a bit chilly at times. the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn and could use some updating. I found the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room a bit disappointing, as I enjoy having a hot beverage in the morning. The bathroom had a bathtub, but the water pressure was poor, and the faucet was leaking, which was inconvenient. the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, but the housekeeping service was lacking. The room was only cleaned once during my stay, despite our request for more frequent cleaning. The hotel also advertised valet parking, but we faced issues with public parking that weren't clearly communicated to us beforehand.

The location of the hotel was magnificent and unbeatable - relatively near a triple-spired 18th-century cathedral. We were offered free of charge and nice hot breakfast with great selections.

This hotel is just a short walk from the lively action on Bourbon Street, with excellent access to numerous eateries like Jimbeaux's Bar & Grill and the renowned Cafe du Monde for their famous beignets, all within about 1.5 kilometers. Strolling to the historic French Quarter and Lafayette Square was easy and enjoyable, making it a delightful base for discovering local landmarks such as St Louis Cemetery No 1 and Frenchmen Street, which were all within a reasonable distance. While the hotel itself could use some updates regarding room cleanliness and breakfast options, the central access to everything made my stay worthwhile.

We had problems with the Housekeeping service, which was always very late. We would go out early for a walk, and when we came back to the room and wanted to rest, the cleaning was never done. The maids' answers were always inconsiderate and rude. The staff at the entrance desk tried to manage this without success. Finally, after three consecutive days of being in the lobby for an hour and a half waiting for the room to be cleaned, we were promised, as compensation, a 25% discount on the final price. At the time of the check-out, the service staff was not aware of this and we had further discussions. Finally, we got a 25% discount on three of the five nights we had booked. Other problems: my wife's wallet was stolen during breakfast from the back of her chair. A jacket she was holding while we were checking in was also missing. We do not blame the hotel staff for these thefts, but it is clear that there is not enough surveillance or security. Never, in many years of travelling in many countries and hotels in Europe, USA and South America, had anything been stolen from us in a hotel, until now.

Perfect match for a weekend pause in New Orleans, attractive and competitive value for money. Staff was friendly and helpful.
